Description
In this unit we look at how ideas, developed in the wake of the French Revolution,
gave rise to a range of secular utopian movements in both the nineteenth and twentieth
century. We also examine the strategies and tactics employed by such revolutionary
movements in their quest for power and the ideologies they have employed to further
their revolutionary aims.
